Classic Eyelash Extension Course in Melbourne
Our 1-day classic lash course is the ideal starting point if you're new to lash extensions. In one hands-on class at our Chadstone studio, you'll learn how to apply a beautiful, safe classic set from start to finish. No previous beauty or lash experience is needed, and you'll leave as a qualified eyelash extension technician, ready to start taking clients from home or in a salon.
How the Training Works
The class runs for about 4.5 to 5 hours. We walk you through every part of the manual so you understand the theory, then you practise on a mannequin before moving on to a live model. Framed certificates are awarded at the end of class to students who show quality application on both the mannequin and the live model.
Your model: please bring your own model, who will need to be with you for about 2 to 3 hours of the session. If you don't have anyone, we can arrange one for you with at least 3 days' notice.
What You'll Learn
Classic lash technique: how to use your tweezers, extension placement, the eyelash extension weight formula, lash styling and mapping, curls and thicknesses, blending lashes, priming natural lashes, gel eye pad application, full sets and refills, retention, removal, and the golden rules of lash extensions.
Health and safety: the natural lash growth cycle, patch testing, reactions, adhesive safety, hygiene, lighting and ergonomics.
Running your lash business: client consultations and aftercare, pricing and time management, building your clientele, tax and GST, branding, a 15-day content plan, marketing and social media growth, plus useful links for your website, graphic design and business name registration.

📦 What's included in my kit?
Training manuals, a mannequin head, Lash Boss Melbourne classic lash trays, adhesive, primer, glue remover, professional tweezers and more. That's enough for at least 20 clients, all in a custom Lash Boss Melbourne box.
Where exactly is the studio, and where do I park?
Our studio is at Waterman Chadstone, inside Chadstone Shopping Centre, The Fashion Capital. Your itinerary will include directions to the studio and the best place to park.
Is parking free?
Yes. Chadstone has free all-day parking, so there's no need to watch the clock during your class.
Do I need to bring a model? What else should I bring?
Yes, please bring your own model. If you don't have anyone, we can arrange one for you, but we need at least 3 days' notice. Apart from your model, you don't need to bring anything. All products, tools and equipment are provided on the day.
When are the course dates?
Course dates aren't listed online. Once we receive your enrolment, we'll email you the available dates so you can choose one that suits you.
Will I receive an itinerary?
Yes. Once you've enrolled, you'll receive a detailed itinerary covering where to park, how to find the studio, what time your model should arrive, and everything else you need to know for the day.
Do I need beauty or lash experience?
No. You don't need any previous qualifications or experience. By the end of the course, you'll be a qualified eyelash extension technician.
Should I do Classic before Volume?
We recommend it. Classic training sets your foundation, and the volume course builds on techniques you'll learn here. If you'd like both, our 2-day Classic, Hybrid & Volume course covers everything in one go.
How do I pay?
Pay in full, use Afterpay or Zippay, or pay a deposit to lock in the current price for up to 3 months (remaining payment due within that time; see our policy page for full terms).
