1:1 Eyelash Extension Class in Melbourne: Classic, Hybrid & Volume in One Day
Travelling in from interstate or regional Victoria? Our private 1:1 class gives you everything in our 2-day Classic, Hybrid & Volume course, completed in a single day at our Chadstone studio. You'll learn classic eyelash extensions plus hybrid and volume (2D–10D) techniques with your trainer's full attention, so you can fly or drive in, train, and head home the same day. No previous experience is needed.
How the Training Works
Because it's just you and your trainer, the day moves at your pace. We start by working through the manuals together so the theory makes sense, then move on to mannequin practice to build your classic and volume technique. Once you're confident, you'll apply a set on a live model with your trainer supervising. Every piece of feedback is about your own work.
Framed certificates are awarded at the end of class to students who show quality application on both the mannequin and the live model.
Your model: please bring your own model. If you don't have anyone, we can arrange one for you with at least 3 days' notice.
What You'll Learn
Lash application: classic, hybrid and volume techniques, light and mega volume, lash mapping and styling, lash weights, curls and thicknesses, step-by-step application, retention and troubleshooting, and client consultations and aftercare.
Health and safety: the natural lash growth cycle, patch testing and allergic reactions, adhesive safety, hygiene and ergonomics.
Business and marketing: pricing and time management, branding and content creation, social media growth, gaining and keeping clients, business setup, tax and GST, plus useful links for your website, graphic design and business registration.

How to Enrol
Add the class to your cart and check out. Once we receive your enrolment, we'll email you the available dates and your detailed itinerary. Your kit is given to you on the day, or choose Express Shipping at checkout if you'd like it sent ahead. Want a head start before you travel? 📦 What's included in my kit?
Training manuals for classic, hybrid and volume, a mannequin head, classic and volume lash trays (hand-made and pre-made fans), adhesive, primer, glue remover, 2 pairs of professional tweezers and more. That's enough for at least 20 clients, all in a custom Lash Boss Melbourne box.
How is this different from the 2-day course?
It's the same course, kit and certificates, just completed privately in one day instead of two. It's ideal if you're travelling from further away and want to keep your trip short. You also receive a $100 Lash Boss Melbourne credit.
Where exactly is the studio, and where do I park?
Our studio is at Waterman Chadstone, inside Chadstone Shopping Centre, The Fashion Capital. Your itinerary will include directions to the studio and the best place to park.
Is parking free?
Yes. Chadstone has free all-day parking, so there's no need to watch the clock during your class.
Do I need to bring a model? What else should I bring?
Yes, please bring your own model. If you don't have anyone, we can arrange one for you, but we need at least 3 days' notice. Apart from your model, you don't need to bring anything. All products, tools and equipment are provided on the day.
When are the class dates?
Class dates aren't listed online. Once we receive your enrolment, we'll email you the available dates so you can choose one that suits your travel plans.
Do I need any lash experience?
No. This class starts from the very beginning and takes you all the way through to hybrid and volume sets.
How do I pay?
Pay in full, use Afterpay or Zippay, or pay a deposit to lock in the current price for up to 3 months (remaining payment due within that time; see our policy page for full terms).
Lash Boss Melbourne is fully insured and meets the Australian Government Assessment Requirements for Application and Training of Eyelash Extensions.
